NAD president G. Alexander Bryant introduced the Antioch Initiative for the division’s cities in late 2022, when “we take the resource that we have collectively, and we focus them in one area … We need to have thousands of centers of influence all around the North American Division.” This initiative, which is all about community engagement, has broadened to include three key areas where Adventists in North America can reach those in its urban areas include public evangelism and media, especially social media.

During the Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) International Convention in August 2021, General Conference president Ted Wilson announced an initiative to distribute up to one billion copies of Ellen White’s The Great Controversy worldwide. The book is a powerful tool for sharing the gospel and has been instrumental in the conversion of many Adventists worldwide.
